Eleanor Lawlor

Eleanor is the assistant to Rowan Lawton and Philippa Milnes-Smith. She loves a book that can make her feel all the feelings. She is partial to a butterfly-inducing romance novel, a heart-tugging family drama, or a riveting memoir detailing a completely different life experience. She believes passionately in the importance of childhood reading for building a lifelong love of books - though her particular preference lies in books that create smart, whimsical and magical worlds for child readers, while not shying away from the more difficult emotions they might face.

Some of her favourites include The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins-Reid, Book Lovers by Emily Henry, Wintering: The Power Of Rest And Retreat In Difficult Times by Katherine May, Educated by Tara Westover, and the entirety of the Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend.

When not in work, you can find her stuck into a good TV show, out catching some live-music or planning a trip back home to Ireland to visit her family.
