Abby Ajayi

Born and raised in London, Abby Ajayi graduated from Oxford University with a law degree. She began her career working in script development at the BBC before turning to writing. In the UK, she has written episodes of series including: Eastenders, Casualty and Hollyoaks. Abby was a Fulbright Scholar and studied screenwriting in New York. In the US, she has worked as a writer-producer on shows including: How to Get Away With Murder (ABC/ Shondaland), the TV adaptation of Four Weddings and a Funeral (Hulu) and the upcoming Netflix/ Shonda Rhimes series Inventing Anna. Abby has written and created RICHES for ITV and the show will go into production in 2021. In addition to writing for the screen, Abby has published short stories in the Tell Tales Anthologies and the Callaloo literary journal and is working on her first novel.

Abby divides her time between London and Los Angeles. For film and TV, she is represented by 42 Management and CAA.
