Chris Judge

Chris Judge is an artist, illustrator, children's book maker and creator of comics (for which he has a lifelong enthusiasm). He is also the creator of A Daily Cloud (Instagram link here) and his picture book collaboration with Eoin Colfer, Cloud Babies, was also published in 2022 (Walker Books). His first picture book, The Lonely Beast (Andersen Press won the Specsavers Irish Children's Book of the Year 2011 in the Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards and has been followed by three Beast sequels. His subsequent book projects have included the Danger is Everywhere series (Puffin Books), written by Perrier Award winning comedian David O’Doherty, as well as illustrating titles by Roddy Doyle and Ryan Tunbridy and further picture books. He is currently creating a new graphic novel comedy series for younger readers Evil Duck (Gill, 2024). In addition to his book work he has created a number of inspiring art projects in schools, hospitals and libraries for all ages to enjoy.

Chris Judge lives and works in Dublin and is married to prize winning photographer Cliona O'Flaherty. They have two children.
