2021 Christmas Charity Donations

2021 has been a tougher year than many of us imagined it would be. Now, with the increasingly bad news as we approach Christmas, we thought it would be good to highlight some of the good things this festive season. The Soho Agency gives each individual staff member the opportunity to nominate a charity of their choice for support. The following organisations have received donations from us this Christmas:

Making A Difference Cards - charity cards that allow you to donate, add alternative gifts and/or fundraise for a charity closest to your heart or support one that the person you are sending the card to loves - a card and gift all in one.

Home Start Wandsworth - provides practical and emotional support to families with children under the age of 5.

Kids Matter - engages local churches to equip parents and carers facing disadvantages with confidence, competence and community, enabling their children to thrive.

Freedom4Girls - focuses on fighting period poverty through education, provision of menstrual health management solutions and actively being at the forefront of the wider campaign against period poverty.

Give A Book - a charity dedicated to promoting books and the pleasure of reading in the hardest places, working in prisons, schools and with disadvantaged children.

The Christie At Macclesfield - benefits patients from Cheshire, the High Peak area of Derbyshire and parts of North Staffordshire who would normally have to travel long distances for their cancer treatment at The Christie.

Noah Enterprise Charity - seeks to help the most disadvantaged in the local community, particularly providing a practical, empowering and caring service to people who are homeless

Girls Friendly Society - a feminist charity that believes in a society free from gender inequality, providing groups where girls and young women build friendships, gain confidence and learn that they are unstoppable.

Endometriosis UK - provides vital support services, reliable information and a community for those affected by endometriosis.

BookTrust - the UK's largest reading charity, reaching millions of children every year with books, resources and support to get every child reading, regularly and by choice.

The Love Grey Foundation - helping all those affected by baby loss.

Alzheimer’s Society - UK’s leading dementia charity, campaigning for change, funding research to find a cure and supporting people living with dementia today.

Gingerbread - provides information to help single parents support themselves and their family, and campaigns to influence policy to reduce stigma against single parents, and make services more accessible to all families – whatever their shape or size.
