'Des' nominated for Best Drama Series or Serial at Broadcast Awards 2021

The ITV drama 'Des', based on Brian Masters' Killing For Company has been nominated for Best Drama Series or Serial at the Broadcast Awards 2021. The series was ITV’s biggest drama launch in 14 years with 10 million viewers tuning in.

Brian's bestselling true-crime classic Killing for Company charts serial killer Dennis Nilsen’s crimes, his arrest and his relationship with the author. Brian worked closely with Nilsen while he wrote the book, often visiting him in prison and building a relationship of sorts. The book has remained in print since its first publication in 1985 and was a Sunday Times bestseller for 7 weeks in 2020.

The winners of the Broadcast Awards 2021 will be announced on May 27th 2021.
