Creator, Writer And Performer

Tim Benzie is a super-fan of Murder, She Wrote, Agatha Christie and all things cosy crime. He is the creator and performer of Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote , the cult hit event performed across the UK and Australia. Tim brings a wealth of camp knowledge of the show and its guest stars to this hilarious interactive experience, introducing audiences to the wonders of the Fameometer and Suspiciometer.

Tim is an award-winning playwright in his native Australia and brought Solve-Along to the Sydney Cabaret Festival in 2019 to sell-out audiences.

Based in London, Tim is the co-writer of the Royal Vauxhall Tavern pantos Goosed, Rubbed, Slipped and the upcoming Pricked. He is the co-producer of cabaret club night PopHorror with Paul Joseph and regularly stars in PopHorror immersive events including Horror Prom and Camp Friday 13th. And many many years ago, Tim starred as Detective Tim on Disney cable kids show Studio D.
